PLASMAGE

FIRST and ONLY in PRESCOTT!

Precision Fractionated Plasma for Crafting Beauty with Confidence!

What is PLASMAGE®?

Plasmage® is the first FDA-cleared fractionated (fractional) plasma device, designed to effectively address various skin concerns and revitalize the skin. The non-invasive Class II medical device is ideal for treating fine lines, deep wrinkles, texture, xanthelasma; benign skin spots and lesions, such as: age spots, seborrheic keratoses, moles, fibromas, skin tags, and more. Developed to safely treat delicate areas like upper and lower eyelids, where laser and radio surgical units cannot, Plasmage® sublimates tissue without side effects on the surrounding skin. Its fractionated mode allows patients to be treated quickly, with the advantage of less downtime than surgery, as well as being less aggressive than other plasma- based devices. Plasmage® delivers 30 modulations of energy, making it highly customizable while ensuring a high level of safety. This device plugs into a 110V outlet, unlike most other battery-operated plasma devices, ensuring a steady currant, without energy fluctuations, which further enhances its safety profile and outcome predictability.

Plasmage® has been safely and effectively used worldwide since 2017, with great success and high patient-satisfaction rates! This incredible technology was just freshly introduced to the United States aesthetics in February of 2024, and Freya’s Laser & Body Sculpting is proud to be the FIRST and ONLY med spa to offer this amazing technology in the Prescott, AZ area.

How does PLASMAGE® work?

Plasmage® delivers plasma energy to the tissue by the ionizing of gas in the air. The energy is delivered through a small probe which is applied to the surface of the skin without direct contact, creating microinjuries. Because the energy is applied in “fractions”, the treatment area undergoes a more rapid healing process. You may experience some redness for 24-72 hours but can resume regular activities embracing your revitalized appearance while the plasma energy beneath the skins surface continues to exert effects overtime, yielding long-lasting results.

How long is a typical treatment session and does it hurt?

At Freya’s, we prioritize comfort. As in the case with most device treatments, topical numbing cream or anesthetic is applied to the treatment area. Following treatment, RE|PAIR Skin Revitalizing Serum may be applied to reduce inflammation and help soothe the skin. Session times are relatively short. The entire procedure typically takes about 60-90 minutes (including numbing time)!

Is there much downtime after a PLASMAGE® treatment?

The device creates microthermal treatment zones. These small dots are visible immediately after the treatment and resulting tiny scabs which gradually heal and fall off over the period of 7 – 10 days. Some swelling is also common after treatment, which may be more obvious on day two. The area treated may be tender for 1-4 days. Mineral makeup can be used to cover any residual redness, once the skin has healed. This redness will typically resolve within 10 days, although in some cases, it may persist for up to 2 months.
